Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival Dinners will be held from September 9 to October 21 starting at 5:30 at DesBarres Manor Inn in Guysborough, Nova Scotia. Every Tuesday from September 9th until October 21st, DesBarres Manor Inn Chef Shaun Zwarun and Cellar Keeper Audrey Firth are hosting a special fall Nova Scotia wine dinner. Bobcaygeon Wine & Food Festival will be held September 13 from 12 noon to 7:30 pm at Kawartha Settlers' Village in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. This is a tasting festival of Ontario and international wines, beers & foods from local caterers & restaurants. The venue is a restored village of buildings from the 1800s. The First Annual Whine, Dine and Silent Auction will be held September 27 at Le Kaprice in Kapuskasing, Ontario. Ontario Wine Guy Enterprises and Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing are joining forces to help raise money for the animals of the Kapuskasing area who have been abused and mistreated. Our first event will be a wine & food pairing held at Le Kaprice Fine Dining Restaurant featuring food from their chef Mylene and the wines of Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery, Pillitteri Estates Winery, Smith & Wilson Estate Wines and Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery. Admission is $50 per person. Proceeds go to Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing, a non-profit, all volunteer group that was formed in 2000 and whose sole purpose is to help abandoned, neglected or abused animals in the Kapuskasing area.
